Well… this marks the end of the road, the final track. It’s been a great experience. Heartfelt thanks for coming along, enjoying (or not), encouraging and generally being a great group of friends over the last few months.

I suppose I’d better get on with recording.

I’ve just moved all the footage from yesterday’s filming onto my computer and done some very rough cutting – Looking great.
Wish I could snap my fingers and see the finished thing without the hours of editing. Oh well, I’m sure it’ll be character building.

The song’s pretty much done too – just some final tweaks to the mix and then it’s all set.

What a nightmare

What a nightmare I’ve had this evening – I had recorded some really great tracks for Monday’s song – I’d done 3 guitar parts and the drums – Then bang! The computer crashed – Only then did I realise I’d forgotten to hit save all evening.

Now I’m left sitting sweating in a boiling hot loft with all the windows shut after several hours of recording with ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to show for it!

I’m not happy.

Sorry to disappoint but there won’t be a release tonight – I’ve been a bit useless and indecisive this week so I haven’t finished the track in time.

I will get on the case and definitely get one online for next Monday!

Well, I’ve spent the evening recording acoustic guitar – still not sure I’ve cracked it.
Now my fingers are sore and I’m feeling a bit tired and grumpy.

Time to give up for the evening I think – Last time that happened I did it first take the next day – here’s hoping
